It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the web site of the Margate City School District located in Margate, New Jersey. The board of education, administration, and staff are dedicated to providing the children of Margate with educational programs that encourage them to achieve academically.           As we continue to evolve, the board of education, administration, and staff will continue to review and revise the district's programs to provide Margate youngsters with the finest education in the State of New Jersey. The Margate Board of Education 8103 Winchester Ave. Margate, NJ 08402 Phone 609-822-1686 Fax 609-822-3399 Overall responsibility for the education of the PK-8 children within the City of Margate lies with the district's Board of Education, composed of seven members, appointed by the mayor for staggered terms of three years.
