The Accelerated Reader Program is a computer assisted individualized learning tool. Students work at their own pace to read award winning, classic, or all-time favorite books. They choose a book from a list of over 2,000 titles in our media center, and then take a short objective test on the computer. The tests are instantly scored. The computer program keeps track of each child's individual progress. Students are enthusiastic about this program because they can watch themselves improve!!! If you find books in other libraries or book stores for your children, please check to see that the books are on our school list .
