Step 2: Preliminary Bibliography

Before selecting any topic, you must be sure enough information is available. Scan books, magazines, almanacs, and Internet sources to find at least five preliminary sources to begin your research. Your teachers and the Media Specialist can help you navigate the magazine search indexes on the computers. Do not forget about the Margate library, also.

Note : Only one (1) encyclopedia may be used.

For every reference source you plan to use, complete a bibliography (source) sheets containing all facts about the source. Be sure to letter each source (A, B, and C….). Follow the guidelines on the source sheets, located in your packets. Use the citation maker to compile your sources.
