Check the reading list in the media center or your teacher's room to find some suggestions. Each book has a reading level and number of points. Choose a book that is appropriate for your ability. The more you read, the higher your level will go!!! There is no limit to how high you can go!

Go to the media center. All Accelerated Reader books are marked with a circle dot on the spine of the book. You can choose fiction, biography, or nonfiction. Take time to read the blurb, and choose a book you will really enjoy. Ask your Literature teacher or Mrs. Becker for suggestions or assistance if you need help!

Make sure you check with your Literature teacher for approval after you make your final choice.  He or she will verify if your selection is appropriate for your individual reading ability.

Go to the Media Center and log on at one of the Accelerated Reader computer stations. Enter your secret password. Take your time and read every question carefully. DO NOT TAKE THE TEST IF YOU DID'NT READ THE WHOLE BOOK! When you finish the test, it will print out your results. Return this sheet to your Literature teacher for credit.

Stop in the media center to look at our Accelerated Reader list. It changes and grows all the time!
