THE CHARACTERS
1. Complete one of the following assignments (20 points).
- Pretend that the characters of the novel are reunited after 20
years from the time the story ended. Imagine what their jobs, relationships,
etc. will be like. Support your conclusions by stating why you think
the characters turned out this way.
- Pretend that you are describing a main character in the novel
to a friend. Compose a complete description that includes the physical
appearance and personal characteristics. Cite examples from the
book to support your description.
- Interview a character from the novel. Make up interview questions and answers and compose an article entitled with "My interview with...". Please have a minimum of five questions.
2. Complete two of the following assignments (10 points).
- Imagine that you are one of the secondary characters in the novel.
Design and compose a postcard to a friend telling about an event
that happened in the novel. Illustrate the front of the postcard
with a scene or setting from the novel.

There is going to be a film based on your novel. Select the actors that you would choose to portray the characters. Support your choices.
- Imagine that you are a character in the novel. Write a journal entry expressing his or her thoughts about a pleasant or disappointing experience from the novel.
