1. Complete one of the following assignments (10 points).

• Create a small dictionary of words that were new to you. This list should include a minimum of 20 words, parts of speech, definition, and should be in alphabetical order.

• Find a quote in the novel that captures the theme of the novel or the author's writing style. Print your quote on a background illustration that expresses the novel's theme.
