Power Point Overview

This activity offers students an alternative to the everyday book report, which can be especially tedious for students with learning disabilities. It will allow you, as the facilitator, to incorporate technology into your curriculum and will also allow the students to utilize technology to create an attractive as well as informative project. `

In this section of the unit plan you will find the materials and guidelines you and your students will need to successfully complete a Power Point book report presentation. While incorporating technology into your lesson, the students will actively participate in a project that will tap into their creativity.

Student with fine motor and written expression difficulties will especially benefit from this activity as they will be afforded the opportunity to utilize technology with each step of the process. The materials used for this lesson have been modified and formatted for students with learning and physical disabilities. Please encourage your students to let their creative juices flow!
