Originating as an elementary school program nine years ago in a single school, the Banana Splits Program is now in use in many states throughout the country. Banana Splits is for any child whose family structure has changed due to divorce, separation, death, and/or living with grandparents. Banana Splits is a fun support group for children dealing with any type of split in their family. This support group encourages children to explore their feelings and to understand that they are not alone.
Banana Splits meets once a week during lunch.
