• YOUR ASSIGNMENT:
    You must choose at least 3 different stocks to follow, but no more than 5!
    You will have a maximum of $5000.00 to invest in your stocks. You must choose stocks
    from the NYSE, Nasdaq, or AMEX. Choose your stocks wisely because you will not be able
    to sell them until the end!
    You should not pick more than one stock from each category. Pick from the following categories:
    • Retail (examples:Toys & Games/Clothing/Shoes/Transportation Companies)
    • Food & Restaurants (examples:McDonalds/Hershey/Coca Cola/General Mills/Kellogg)
    • Technology (examples:Dell/Sony/AOL Time Warner)
    • Entertainment (examples:Blockbuster/Disney/Warner Brothers/Pixar)
    • Pharmaceutical (examples:Pfizer/Novartis/Merck)
    • Oldies but Goodies (examples:Johnson & Johnson/General Electric/Exxon Mobil)

    You may also want use Yahoo finance to check some Market Data, and do some further some researching before finalizing your choices.
     Once you choose your stocks, you can use Yahoo.com to  https://www.yahoo.com/ track its progress. Select the
     ‘finance’ icon on the left menu. Enter your stocks symbol or name to get the previous close price to enter in your spreadsheet.
